The light is pretty bright. It cycles through 3 modes: steady, flashing, and side light. The zoom works as a cheap flashlight would. The power button is a bit on the small side but it had to be done to accommodate the charging port at the bottom.

The flash light is amazing. It’s small and bright. It’s bright till it’s not then it’s time to charge it. Keep a power bank nearby if you plan to use it for many hours at a time. The flashlight is great, when I lost my original I had to reorder. The seller not so much. I tried ordering just one. The seller let the order expire. I reordered again but bought 3 this time. Actually got them, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from my first order expiring.
