I bought the clear headlight film to use on my inner tail light on my X5. They are porous and water gets inside due to the poor plastic quality. They have also dimmed in lustre looking aged and tired. My first try, which is visible in the photos was quick and not as neat as I could have done. The difference is a little more obvious between the two. The light with X5 above it has the clear film applied whilst the other picture has nothing yet. I found it difficult to fit around the gentle curve of the rear lens, but with a soft Eva foam blockand using a curved sweeping motion, I could be sure to remove all the air bubbles. I don’t know what I would do if this was my front lights, the curves a more complex, I am also not sure about using a heat gun to make it more pliable around the complex curves. I never thought to ask the seller about this 🤭. Still I am happy that it does what I need until I get replacement rear lights. Very happy and very impressed with the service and product. ****
