ok, some tips for this. This isn’t like wrap vinyl. DONT try to STRECH it , rather lay it down , starting at one end , peel a small amount of the backing away , gradually rub it down ,side to side 5mm at a time , pull the backing away from underneath 5mm at a time. if you get small bubbles, pull it up uniformly , and rub it down again. heat will help the glue stick once you’ve done the main area and wrapped around the edges. , and once you get going, try to cut it to size + 3cm around so that you dont have excess, making your life difficult. when the lamp is covered, use an off cut that is sticky and dab it on an edge. it might require a slight stroking action , this will grab the PROTECTIVE TOP LAYER (that is easy to miss. It is much thinner than the backing , is clear, and will peel off very easily . small concave curves will require heat , a hair drier will do the job.
